SPOTLIGHT: The Last King

I've decided that there's too much history and too little time.

Downstairs, my "TBR pile"--the literal pile of printed books that I have on my reading list looks like a sky-scraper. And I have an unending, unread collection on my Kindle, too. Then there are the several books I still need to read for my current project, which are mostly non-fiction.

My point? It's just fun to dive into historical fiction. It's my favorite escape and delightful addiction. And how wonderful to have thousands of years of history in which to peruse. Sure, I have favorites, but lately, I've broadened my horizons a lot. In fact, my current project is in a period that I frankly didn't know much about. That research has given me amazing insights into the early years of the United States.

This week, I have a tantalizing book spotlight to share--taking place in the early Viking/Saxon Age. And for those of you who love bloody sword-sagas, you're in luck, because M.J. Porter is dishing out a series you won't want to miss! Take a look and check it out!

And most importantly, READ ON!
